Driving Lights

Post by dennys » Sat Aug 31, 2013 7:11 pm

On my Lci 2011 E70 the driving lights are on aswell as the rear lights no matter how I have the lights switch etc ,I've noticed on other cars that the front driving lights are on but the rears are off is there something I'm doing wrong somewhere or are later cars set up like this. thanks for any help info.

Nothing wrong at all.  From MY2011 the cars had an added function of rear DRLs enabled.  It's shown as a BMW supplied 'at build' option on my X6 too.

I have both on and as far as I know it's a choice of DRLs or no DRLs, no option to disable the rears.

They disabled the rear lights on later models,  they are hardly necessary and BMW were the only manufacturer to seem to have the rears on at the same time.
