Greetings LED retrofit fans I've just updated Mrs Docs 35d LED angel eyes to the latest £139 V3 MTEC LED bulbs, they are a fair bit brighter and whiter than the previous ones I bought from fleabay see pics...

And for the "full on sunny day heads" out there here they are on a sunny day next to my 40d OEM LED lights set to DRL, I'm liking the "whiteness" of the MTEC bulbs a lot.

Yes there a lot brighter.
But also a lot more £££ than the Ebay specials....

Indeed they are but I just like playing, to be honest we just wanted the rings to be whiter as we both have the headlamps on when driving.

sorry to hijack, but on a slight tangent.. Can anyone tell me when the brighter OEM rings become standard on X5 E70 ?

AFAIK...LED Halos are standard on 2010 LCI model X5s
Also 8 speed boxes and a few other tweaks.
