Protect & Survive

Post by X5Sport » Wed Aug 14, 2013 4:41 pm

Anyone else remember this little booklet from the 1980's

Talk about Doom & Gloom!!  Protect and Survive 1980.

I was part of a team working on Civil Defence radio systems then, and we were all issued with it....depressing stuff really and I'm glad the madness of the time has mainly passed now.

I remember the booklet but was only 11 at the time. Have vague memories of my parents discussing it. A very different world indeed.

I too remember the booklet, but god wasn't there a lot to do in that three minute warning we were going to get......

Yes Penny, we were lucky to have made it this far.  Even after all the wars we have been associated with too.  Must be a tough generation, grrrrrrrr!!!!!
