I'm not convinced about the back end but I like the idea and the rest looks pretty good.
Sensible pricing too.

The front is ok, the side is ok up to the B pillar, from there back is unbelievably ugly, the back end is even uglier and as for the inside , fake wood ( brown ) with grey cloth , its putrid.........................
Overall then, ugly as sin and no I wont be buying one. Why 2 tone as well ? NO, NO and NO again. BMW are a good clever car company but the designer should be taken outside and stoned IMHO..............stop making ugly designs . Please...........! Happy to come over and show you a good design, I dont think it is that difficult.
The real answer is the world is overpopulated, get rid of half the worlds population and we can all drive around in V8's no nore polution issues and we are all happy.
Not for me.....................

Start with Audi drivers

It needs to be a slower progressive thing. Start with the those that own big ford fiestas.

I don't think electric cars are the way forward as the technology still needs to develop, but I still want a go.... :drive:

Unlike my other cars I did put this on a pcp arrangement because of the nature of the car and my long term plans with it (giving it to SD to take over)
I did contemplate getting another one and I did also think about their electric one.
Because of the battery lease it came out at over £100/mth more for the electric one therefore negating any benefits at all although the salesman said it wasn't meant to be about the money it was meant to be about the green aspect.
I did laugh as I roared off in my inefficient petrol car!!!

How can they say any car like this is "Green" when its made from carbon fibre. They conveniently forget that is one of the least energy efficient materials to manufacture and mold and repair. The batteries, another unbelievably dirty product to mine and manufacture and whats their life? About 10 years down the road will need changing at a horrendous cost. I bet even the lights are LED another dirty base material to be mined.
Plus the power companies say they struggle when we all get home and plug in the kettle? What the hell will happen when we all get home and plug these in???
Then when it's finally dead or beyond economical repair there is the cost of recycling!!!
I did read somewhere that Aston are the Greenest manufacturer as 90% of all the cars they have made are still in use?

The car may be lightweight and have thin wheels and a BMW rounded on it on the outside, but the interior is not built to last. The seats are hard, thin and have limited adjustment - a throw back to the 70's in fact.
The interior materials remind me of paper board covered in something to disguise that fact.
It has about the same interior space as a 1 series or Mini Countryman and the 'underboot' is all taken up by the battery pack.
It seems to go well, although the lack of engine noise is disconcerting, and acceleration is pretty rapid. It's not a rocket ship but then it isn't designed to be.
The biggest issue is the cost. The version with an engine to assist in the charging is over £32k and that is a lot for what you get.
Fine for a commuter vehicle in town, or just pottering to the local shops or station but that's it.
Don't get me wrong, it is a great idea and I would hope the support network BMW have will far outshine that of Nissan and Renault. I would not buy to own, only lease.
The F15 was there too and that looks much better in the flesh. The 'square' nose profile takes a bit of getting used to, but apparently BMW were forced to use it across their range to meet the new pedestrian safety rules.
My view is that you're stupid enough to step in front of a moving vehicle then you're going to get hurt, and kids will just go straight underneath.
Oh and pvr......it has round exhausts too (except on the MSport).

I'll get some pics up once I've got home and uploaded them.
