Holidaying in Europe

Post by squeaky2 » Mon Jul 29, 2013 9:41 am

Well I'm on my holidays again in Europe and whilst I'm stuck indoors during a thunder storm I thought I'd post some X pics.
A moody xpic whilst driving over the mountains from France to Italy

Another halfway up the Stelvio pass

The Stelvio pass is an amazing road with some amazing views.

Check for bikes before you go to avoid disappointment when they close it (again ....)

We are staying on lake como at the moment so tackled it from the south end. The journey up from the north looks quite treacherous too :).

I had nervous passengers with me so was very well behaved ;)

There were a lot of motorbikes around too.  Am hoping to do the San Bernardino on the way home

Stuck the X in sport gearbox and suspension and it performed admirably. Apart from the fact I though I may well be boiling the gearbox oil :)

Considering the 4 adults and 2 Labradors I though we did quite well.

Mainly did it to escape the 36c heat down by the like and I don't think I've seen so many motorbikes all at once.

Certainly made me want to be on mine :)
