Picked up my new baby today and am now a legit X member :yeah:

'06 E53 3.0d Sport in Carbon Black, with Black, Graphite Trim, 20"ers, Running Boards, Pano, Sat Nav, TV, Bluetooth, Folding Mirrors, Xenons etc...

I will take a few pics when I've washed it and then work out how to put them on here.
3.0d Sport Exclusive E53 CB with black comfort, pano, folding dimming mirrors, 20"ers, comms, xenons, focal sub, Intravee II, GSM heater........and so on.

Congratulations - Car spec sounds superb & very desireable in used E53 terms :)

The predictable prompting for early pics may or not follow, however, most importantly I hope you enjoy getting to know your car.

Looks very nice Rusty.

Always think black is the best colour when clean...just tricky keeping them clean!!

I have a plan re keeping clean, I will keep it garaged ..... but thanks for that Lee4.8is.

Huge congrats. Lovely looking motor and CB is superb. My old 530d was CB and after a full detail it looked stunning but is a real pain to keep clean.

That is the trouble with the dark colours.

Last car was black and I vowed never to have black again as they only ever look clean for the first 10 mins after washing & waxing :headbang:
Saying that, black does look fantastic, and as soon as I saw a BM in Carbon black, I knew that was the colour I wanted. Is it more black or blue? What's your take on it?

Just so happened that my X turned up with all the right spec and in the Carbon Black, so it must have been fate??
