I spend all day polishing, glazing and waxing the X5 and it looks like a new car again, well impressed with how it turned out  :)

Big thanks for this tip, I couldn't find my heat gun so used the wife's hairdryer  ::), it made no difference at all, so I nipped into work to borrow the heat gun and all I can say is fantastic, its like new again, even done the sisters white/grey bumpers on her corsa and they came up like new again aswell

so easy to do and well worth the effort

How do people come up with these ideas I'm not knocking it  :)) but it makes you wonder.Now here's an idea lets start a new thread on tips of any kind  >:D.

Thanks - I might try this myself though might improvise with a d.i.y. foil covered shield of sorts to reduce risk of blistering clearcoat & paint.

Sometimes I do find myself wondering 'who thought of that', but then I guess that's how inventions are discovered.....you know the old 'I wonder what would happen if I do th....BOOM!!!!!' Type of thing  :D
