Bloody Hell Blue Bell are trying my patience what can I do?

Post by PeterL » Wed Jul 10, 2013 7:20 am

Hi guys, as some of you know I had the 50i tips put onto my X640d not too long ago.  Anyway to try and keep this short and sweet  this is the catalogue of events

1 Car went in they noticed poor fit and car was booked to go in again, 1 day
2 Car went in I noticed that the paint finish on the trims was poor, 2 day
3 Car went in and not only was the paint finish poor but the offside trim wasn't fit correctly 2 days and they have refunded me the labour
4 The car is booked in again today for another 2 days if I am not happy this time what should I do?

This has become a real pain in the back side and I think the way it has been handled is appalling.  Stupidly I booked my M5 in to the body shop after a person saw fit to reverse into her in a car park and the bumper needed replacing.  I went to see the M5 yesterday and the fit on the drivers side is poor what do you think?  There reply to me when I mentioned this was that it is a mass produced part and that there was an issue with fitting it.  They said that there had been a previous repair but I have never noticed it fitting this poorly and I am a attention to detail freak.

That is deffo a poor fit. They do deserve a last chance, from a sales of goods point of view, but I'm sure my mate John on the Stockport body shop I gave you details of previously would be happy to give you an expert opinion with a view to costing reparative work should it come to that. Just say robin sent you. Good luck and thanks for the warning on body shop!

Spoke to Mark the customer service manager at the body ship and they are going to remove and refit the bumper.  Why they cant do this before they try to release a car God knows.

Hi,

are you saying the gap between the bumper and the body is too wide ?

Thats the only fault I can see with that picture. Have to compare it to others to give a true veredict.

Regards,

Nat

When do I get to see the DB9.  I would like you to have a look at the X6 tail tips too.  I need your expert opinion?
