Lights ?

Any ideas of where to get some bright white bulbs for my X6 and how you fit them please ..... ?

Seen loads on ebay etc .... but not sure which ones give the best results ?

Just tired of seeing those yellow daytime running lights in the tail of the car in front of me as I think they look Naff ! :'(

I have tried loads and settled for the LUX V3 (in my sig) in my car there is a new V4 out that is supposed to be brighter but I keep asking LUX to put a side by side comparison on the same car on their website to see how much difference there is. As they have not then I a not paying silly money for a new set especially after the import duty increases the cost considerably. There are also Hellst XRT LED bulbs as well and also claim to be as bright as the V4 at around 900 Lumen. Even then you will never get them as bright as the new BMW ones but I just like the clean white look instead of the yellow. A much cheaper option is the MTEC halogen bulbs.

Only trouble with all the adverts is they take photos inside in dark conditions and they will always look brighter than in real life so be careful what you buy or you will have a garage full of bulbs like me.

I have the MTEC Cosmos Blue H8 halogen bulbs.  Straight swap as the DRLs are in the inner headlight.  There was a thread about it a few weeks back......Thread with daylight pics from Post 16.

They are as bright as the OEM H8s and not yellow
