Could someone tell me what this is in the cabin of my 2003 facelift X5?

It's wired in so does something?!

Hhhhmmmm Parrott (the in car handsfree people) did a small unit that looked similar to that....was a bluetooth unit and speaker all in one. Cheap handsfree solution. Would have thought it had a button or something similar somewhere though!

Thanks for the reply!

I may have to have a mooch around the rest of the cabin to see but so far nothing aftermarket stands out.

Might try searching for Bluetooth devices in the car and see if anything is found.

Any other thoughts welcome. :)

Just had a thought.. it's got DVD screens in the headrests with remote controls. Could be the remote control sensor??
