Fuel ?

Anyone noticed a difference when using the more expensive super graded diesel fuel ?

Is it me Or does it really make a difference ?

Much diacussed on just about every motoring forum. IMO its Placebo effect on new cars but could clear some clogged up shat from older ones.

+1, although 5th gear did find a very small difference of 1-2bhp but hardly worth the extra cost, and it depends on how well the tanker driver puts the additives in at delivery to the forecourt.

I just buy the cheapest on offer.....usually Supermarket fuel.  Never had an issue in 15 years.

Mine feels smother on Shell than supermarket.... Probably in my he'd though!

If the price is relatively similar I'd choose shell or BP
