Shame it still has a metal folding roof - that means sod all boot space when it's folded.  Nice looking though.

nice.. but i think its too similar to the current F30/3 series.. but then that might be the intention ie will there be a 3 series convertible as well?

also hard to tell obviously they've hidden/muffled the design differences..

3 series convertible and coupé, plus the 'M' are now the '4' series, and will get an 'X' soon too.  Will there be a '2' series made up of the sportier '1' series and an X for that range too?  Mind you the X2 will probably look like a Vauxhall Tigra....

Seems that the 4 series is to the 3 series, what the 6 series is to the 5 series. As stated earlier, Merc seem to be doing the same with there range of cars too.
All manufactures seem to have so many different models out at the moment, its hard to keep track.

but how because if the 6 series is a coupe/cab 5 series, but theres already a coupe/cab 3 series? and a gt, a x3, xdrive touring......really bmw give your head a shake, fewer nice cars instead of mass production crap, next they'll be made in china
