Painting Brake callipers - anyone done it?

Post by 6bmw » Fri Jun 21, 2013 1:37 pm

Came across this photo shoot of the X5 M50d where the owner has painted his callipers in florescent yellow and think it particularly looks YUM!

Deffo a mod I'll be doing when I find my perfect 40d M Sport :)

On another note has anyone on this forum got a M50d !!?!?! What a beast - I didn't even realise this existed until I found this link!

LOL I have gone mad - trust me with the announcement of the new model the E70 seems to be going up in price especially with the right spec...I will find one though, looking hard!! I love the painted callipers :D:

If I get a black one the callipers will have to be Estoril Blue :D

They're better.

The F15 doesn't look so good in either guise, no wonder the E70s are holding their value.

The Q7 gone?

I've seen new 320s with painted calipers like that.

Hardly a performance car

More halfords than anything else!

Yep I saw that at a showroom too - most BMW garages right now have a 320i M Sport saloon with the BMW Performance kit on them - these include painted brake callipers in a range of colours.
