Got to hand it to you though.
At least you have posted a fix that others can utilise so well done on that and thanks

But i am sure there are many interpretations of the execution that can be employed :)O
If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
Please note...
Anything I say is only from my personal experience and knowledge..
I don't assume to know everything, and know there is a lot I don't know..
But then I could be talking bollox.. O:-)

Thank you and so true.

BUT, you would never know I did this (unless you look on here) as the whole lot is back together as factory intended!  ;)

And it wasn't my car!  :))

Finally got round to doing mine, dont believe Sanj, the light is held together with the Devils own glue and required a Dremel to get it apart. Think my soldering was a bit neater, but to my eternal shame I then spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why the light still wasnt working then realised I had put an LED bulb in the wrong way round. Whoops.

Sanj, mate............

The use of an old jump lead and soldered using an old iron and a bit of lead from the church roof isn't your finest work, but the sentiment is appreciated. As for the discrete lumps of silicone, won't that make finding the next break in the circuit harder to find ;)

I bet Jeeg is well happy though, twaz freeeeeeede!!!!!!!!!!!
