On closer inspection the switch looks black but unerneath it is white, I now have a white area within the switch front. You can no longer see any detail on the switch. Has anyone else seen this?

My 40d is now 2.5 years old, the other day I noticed that the park distance switch was flaking!
On closer inspection the switch looks black but unerneath it is white, I now have a white area within the switch front. You can no longer see any detail on the switch. Has anyone else seen this?

Just a quick update, BMW have agreed to repace the complete switch panel under warranty
