I have to back track here

There was an Msport one at canary wharf motor show today and I have to say I actually quite liked it

Not enough to want but with kit, wheels and colour it looked ok. Also seems to have an active rear spoiler.

Are BMW losing the plot? Sadly if they are they are not alone with several other manufacturers trying to "fill the Niches" with all sorts of weird stuff. Sometimes I think there must be a design award for the ugliest car.

Maybe they should look back before doing it, history may teach a lesson. Being old I remember the 1960's (well bits of it) and 1970's when manufacturers who had 1, 2 or 3 models suddenly started producing "new" models and variants. Both in Europe and the USA manufacturers were launching new models and buying each other willy nilly, well now most of them no longer exist. Strange it was the companies with clear model ranges that survived and became stronger.
