I love it again now (almost sold it last year when we got the Porsche) but I've spent approx. £6k on it on more mods etc this year and it is back on form. Did Brands Hatch on Thursday evening and loved it

I do miss our s1 Elise just felt so much more part of the car than the slk we have now, would love an sc exage. sounds like its not quite standard either, never managed anything more than a decat and Larini exhaust on the s1 although sounded pretty good for a 12 year old rover 4 pot.

I think most bits have been changed now other than a light weight flywheel and uprated clutch which I will do when the current one goes

Mostly lotus Motorsport upgrades or approved;-
Uprated fuel pump and injectors
211 ecu, remapped
Forge inter cooler
TRD box and filter
2bular exhaust (this with the box above etc makes it too loud for some uk tracks)
Uprated gear cables
Stiffened engine mounts
Big brake kit ( a bit too much in the wet)
Track day Pro nitron suspension
Mega lightweight lotus sport wheels

All adds up to about 300bhp/t

Don't think there is much out there that will stop quicker

It is quite amusing watching a passenger twitching as you go flying past the brake board on track or leaving the braking right to the last minute approaching a roundabout because they don't think you will stop in time and you still managed to stop short.

I want to get them all together but other than mechanics there are only 2 other people that have driven my lotus. One is my old next door neighbour who now lives 60 miles away
