BMW X5 3.0d For Sale

I am selling my E53 3.0d Sport 52-plate  :'(
It is black, with black leather interior & has the memory & heated seats.
Mot until 30th October, Tax until end of July, service history, 109k miles.
Engine was fully refurbished in January and is still under warranty, gearbox had a full service 2 weeks ago.
It had new front and rear brake pads last month & has got 4 nearly new tyres.
This is a really nice car and is in great condition!
The car has covered 109k miles but as said, it has had a engine refurb so engine has only done about 1500 miles!

Can you elaborate on the engine being "fully refurbished" and the gearbox "service"  please? I've never heard of a gearbox service other than an oil change and an engine refurbishment could cover a multitude to be honest, however the details of both could make quite a difference.

The engine is basically a new engine! Everything inside is new, the only original part is the out shell!
Gearbox service - sump removed & cleaned, new oil, new oil filter & new sump gasket!

Haven't done any interior pics yet, but its black leather in good condition with the silver plastic trim. It has a sony CD player as the BMW stereo broke.
It is a very nice car and as its got basically a brand new engine & had the gearbox recently serviced you know its like new!

Cost of new internal engine parts from BMW plus labour would be significant - please clarify.

The last refurbed engine I bought had original crankcase, crankshaft, camshafts and cylinder head but everything else (pistons, rods, bearings, journals, valves, hydraulic tappets gaskets and all seals and bearings etc etc replaced and then I bolted on the accessories from the old unit (alternator, oil pump, steering pump, injectors, electrics, ignition etc before sending the knackered one back for re manufacturing.

Was yours a similar rebuild?  They can be quite cheap......mine was actually done by a Rover Factory Unit and was for an Opel car!  Rover did it £100 cheaper.

There was a 5 series having a BMW rebuild and that was heading past £10k.....though that might have been for a complete new unit.

The engine had a full engine rebuild and is still under warranty.

Forgot to add, with the engine rebuild it also had all injectors refurbed & a new diesel fuel pump!
