DVD Headrest AV leads advice

Post by j2d » Sun May 29, 2011 11:36 am

I have a 54 plate X5 3.0d, it came with the 'TV in motion', I have recently ordered some Headrest DVD screens, and was hoping the existing 'Tv in motion' cable would hav a AV input too, but i've just been out to have a look, hoping it would be the one I need, but there isn't one!? So i'm guessing its been done through a software upgrade! Mood!!

Looking at the different leads on 'Toysinyourcar' site, I'm not sure if its worth paying the extra to get a stereo lead instead of a mono lead, what do you think? will it make much difference?

Also thinking it might be worth paying a bit more to get the extra camera connections for a future rear view camera.

These are what i've found;

Mono AV

Mono AV with camera input
http://www.toysinyourcar.com/acatalog/bmw_av_cam.html

Stereo AV - Massive price difference!

Does anyoneknow of anywhere else I could get the leads I need?

Any advice would be most appreciated

John

To be honest, I think car dvd headrest is better than overhead car dvd player. The headrest one will not take up too much room and it is always cheaper than the overhead one. My headrest car dvd cost me £104
