Hi guys.
Over the last few weeks I've realised there has been a battery drain on my 3.0D X5. I presumed it was just an old battery issue so changed the battery. However, I've noticed that during the last few days the car isn't entering sleep mode so there must be a drain somewhere.
This has only started in the last week or so as I've checked the sleep issue a few times and all was ok until last week as previously mentioned.
By process of elimination I've narrowed it down to the Bluetooth unit and by removing fuse 73 I've managed to solve the sleep issue. However I no longer can use phone in the car and I'd like this option back.
Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this or things I could try? Or is this a tell tale sign that unit needs replacing?
Like I say it's only been a problem the last few days.
Thanks in advance!
Steve

Re: bluetooth module battery drain
Sounds like a module fault.
