Was booked in for yesterday but got a call from coopers to say that bmw hadn't authorised release of the parts yet so they would call when available.  An odd recall programme ....

The only brake recall on VOSA for the E70 is this one:

There is one for cracked rear disc issues in 2008, but that doesn't sound like the one you're affected by.

Yes, odd isn't it.  Will update once I've got it sorted, if its not a vosa recall then at least its here for reference

Spoke to the Dealer today, parts still on back order in Germany and they don't know when to expect them at the moment.  Can't be that serious then...

Back from the dealers and the work has been done - its a vacuum line "enhancement"-  ....

Managed to find this blog about it now, its only the 4.8 thats affected :-
