Tyres for my E39 M5

Post by PeterL » Wed May 08, 2013 11:58 am

It's time to change the tyres on the M5, I have been using continental sport contacts for the last 2 years and am very pleased with them.  However I wouldn't mind trying something else has anyone been super happy with tyres you have used recently.  I do prefer premium tyres.

I used Michelin Pilot Sports on my previous E60 M5 and 530d. Absolutely superb BUT pricey. But as they say, you get what you pay for.

I had an E39 ACS5 and used Yokohamas on it with good experience .
My Alpina has Contis which I'm happy with , and as Raj says Michelins are very good , but
they know it and charge for it !!

Stuck with the continentals, jeez what a difference compared to having 2.5 mm tread left.
