Cheap way of ridding the horrible orange look to you indicators

To anyone who might be interested,

I hate the orange looking indicator in the clear lensed lights caused by the the orange bulb reflecting inside the light i used to solve this by buying the chrome look bulbs at a cost of around £15-£20 but now days i do it this way at minimal cost.

I take the orange bulb and give it a light dusting with a can of silver spray paint (only a dusting)

I then replace them in the lights and the go from looking like this:

And they still work perfectly:

Has no noticeable effect on the lifespan of the bulb
