Also noticed this over last couple of days - damp & misty outside.

Perhaps has something to do with recent heavy rain leaving outstanding low ground moisture.

Air con can help dehumidify interior albeit dont know lowest ambient external operating temp on our cars for this to be effective.

You shouldn't be getting a massive amount of condensation on the inside of the car, even with the colder weather. Possibly a window slightly open or a door seal not forming a proper seal perhaps. Just guess working on these but it's the same as when you get excessive moisture in the headlights due to the seal of the bulb holders etc not sitting properly.

As well as worthwhile using the A/C to dehumidify also worth ensuring the offsidfe rear cubby not jammed with junk as there seem to be vent circulation grills at bottom of same.

Fuse box side there is definitely one. Not dug down below the CD side........maybe have a look if room.

In past I have noticed more condensation when fuse cubby full & which has been reduced after emptying same.

If condensation issues & cubby full maybe empty same ; you might also remove cubby cover &/or push back roller blind for a while & wish to use the a/c more, ( but not on recirculation mode).

Must emphasise above only based on educated guess work - I'm certainly not pushing it as top accurate info.

:D .....I use space around spare, (not too much) ,& front glove & console boxes for storage albeit I try not to leave anything of value in the car.

Hits553 & others - Just a thought re any genuine significant condensation concerns. Maybe also worth checking spare well & battery all good so no leaks or ingression there.

Despite all this the earliest response in this thread is relevant - it has been very cold & lots of moisture in air at moment.

Hi,
worth checking carpets aren't wet as well.
Do you have sunroof as these can leak ?
Also isn't there a problem where water can get into well at rear of car where DVD, Cd changer are installed, will be worth checking her.
I had this problem in a previous car & it was due to the sunroof drain chanels being blocked, carpets in the back where soaking.
