Good morning,
Does anyone know if 4.4i silencers will fit a 3.0d (E53, of course)? If yes, what are the mods that ought to be performed?

They will but as the pipes are a different diameter you'll need a shop to make up and weld on some form of adapters.
I think someone on this forum tried is and found that there was a loss of performance with the pipes due to back-pressure issues (lower) which upset the engine.
You could have false pipes just welded in place in the right spot and keep your existing tailpipes.

Many buyers/owners in UK favour the more sensible & conservative image of diesels and many used buyers reject modified cars................thus it makes little sense to bolt these on over here......... I cant speak for preferences in Bucharest though
