Rear X5 badge ON or OFF ??

Hi all, my recent purchase has no rear badge

It may have been debadged, it may have had a bump and not put back on after repair, I dont know, but would you put an X5 badge back on it ?

I have two thoughts:

Leave off, anyone who does not already know its an X5 does not know about cars anyway so why bother about them

Put back, I just think it is lacking something when I look at the back

(Ok make it three) OR does it look better plain ???

i would leave it off..looks clean and you can tell it is an iS

Leave the badge off - clean lines and easier to clean!  ;)

I hadnt thought much about it till the Cosford meet and then I noticed JamesWhippys x5 was debadged and i thought it looked pretty cool. Enough to consider doing it to mine

Those in the know will know what it is anyway.........and those that don't, well they don't matter  :))

All ours are debadged but for the Mini it wasn't an option oddly.

I've always debadged my motors and this is the first time I've left them (although they are gloss black). I'll actually be removing once again before I detail her.

Totally agree I just like the clean look and adds a bit of mystery especially with dark colour and tinted glass

Think I'll be removing the 'x5' and the '3.0d' badges on next detail. Looks cleaner.

Looks much nicer debadged - I've debadged all my cars looks so much neater.

Doesn't matter what people think, I prefer the cleaner lines without them and also much easier to wax without!
