E series E92 ()
Series 3
Type COUPE

Prod.date 2007-03-05

-------------------------------------

It used to be really dull and a different colour before my detailer & I started playing about with the waxes & glazes.

We taped off a section on the rear quarter, clayed it, and then split it into 3 sections.

Applied a full paint correction to it, and then layered it with a different glaze & waxes, and the colour difference was unbelievable! One was deep blue, one was metallic blue, and one was more a purple blue - I Didn't honestly know the waxes/glazes could do that much difference.

The coupe then went into BMW for a couple of things, and the bodyshop guy rang me up saying I've had a respray on the rear quarter - he didn't believe it was down to the detailing until it mopped out  :))

Hi there Simon.

I think you got away lightly at the meet, the mad, bad & undesirable ones weren't allowed out as the 'special minibus' from the rehab centre broke down ;p

Was good to meet you and see your superb E92

How are things going with the new DRL LED's?

Russ.
