Hi guys a bit of an update got car back from garage today and it seems to have been cured I only took it a short run the temp needle still only sits on the first white marker but when under load or idling for a while it will go to half way and stay there until I drive but no more spluttering or missing yay! I think when I had the ccv fitted the garage had not refitted the inlet properly because it needed two more breather hoses and an inlet manifold gasket set to sort it, so I proberbly still need a stat but at least it's running ok now
