Quick one about door handles.....

Lads,

I know this topic is well covered elsewhere, I have now suffered the same fate, my front passenger door wont open from inside or outside. My question is about parts, what do I need, is it the bit that's inside the door? does the exterior handle normally get changed when this prob happens?

It's normally the bit inside the door only. On mine, a small bit broke off a part of the hinge on the part inside the door and I just repaired it with a small tie-wrap. When the other door want I had to replace the whole carrier assembly. Bit awkward to do possible if you are OK with a bit of car diy
