Many users on here have had issues with the rear air suspension on their X's and quite a few have done the spring conversion. I don't tow and don't intend to so the benefit of self levelling compared to avoiding the risk of further air suspension issues is an easy decision for me. Especially if I can get the whole spring conversion done for the price of replacing one faulty airbag.
