27th April 2013 - RAF Cosford Meet
Re: 27th April 2013 - RAF Cosford Meet
Thanks for a great day, dodging the rain and hail, Never been before and was great to meet some helpful, friendly people.
Thank you to Malc1950 who lent his scanner to his friend who made my alarm 'beep' for me, doors still dont lock automatically, maybe need to look at that when we have more time/better weather
Thank you to Raj for fixing my three bulb problems, problem being someone had removed the bulbs
Also kindly offering me his jack now that the lpg conversion uses the space of the spare tyre in his. Just need to remember (find out) if he was off J2 of the M54 or the M5 I passed ::)
james8whippy (searched for you by guessing off your number plate) will be glad to know I have got off my arse and removed the rear wiper arm, its currently sat outside dripping in WD40, lets see if that makes it complete a clean sweep
Loved Les's (sorry if I picked up the wrong name) X5/Caravan he had everything in that car, and I hope his new Android header unit gets fully connected soon.
Hope you all had a nice meal and a drink later, I had to head home to the angry/lonely missus who tried not to talk to me until I mentioned ordering a Chinese for tea ) (The meal not the man, before anyone brings it up)
Couple of phone quality photo's:

Sounds like fun was had by all, and the weather gave you at least some decent breaks........

Good to meet all the names again, thanks to Raj for the great organisation. have managed to get the white plug to ft in the head unit (bit of judicious stanley blading) on the Andrive, now to sort the radio and tv connections.
Then there will be a Hualigan for sale.

Re: 27th April 2013 - RAF Cosford Meet
Huge thanks to all that attended.
Superb to meet some new faces and old. Great turnout considering the weather probably put some off. From the original numbers still a fair number turned up especially those travelling fair distances to get there.
Weather was very varying including some real down pours and hail.
I didn't take many pics but will post up when I get a chance. Spent too much time chatting to everyone I could and showing off my pride and joy. Glad all liked the mistress including the new fuelling system. I'm seriously impressed with the Prins conversion and many were very impressed with the neatness of the install completed.
Was funny firing those cups out the back of James' exhaust.
The food afterwards was good too and some good banter and drinks.
Looking forward to the next one now.

Thanks to Raj for organising this. Was a great day (even if some of it was spent cowering in the cars hiding from the on off weather!)
A good laugh, with new and old faces, and it's always good to share and learn new stuff. We washed and polished the car before setting off- but by the time we got there, it didn't look any different to before it was washed- flat backed car and wet roads don't really mix!
@ Jig- don't forget the details for the knock-off bulbs for Rusty and I!! )
