Well the weather is warmer and I was intrigued by this no wash stuff, looked at the videos on U-tube and decided to try it.
Our local Garden Centre had a display of the stuff so I came home clutching a spray bottle of Showroom Shine and a box of the Micro Fibre cloths.
Then I chickened out, rubbing dirt into the paint work just doesn't compute mentally so I set too with buckets and gave the car a good wash and leather off then left it to dry completely.
Then I tried the Showroom Shine all I can say is WOW, spray the stuff on then wipe off with the cloth the amount of dirt it still took off was amazing just years of built up crud I guess. No hard rubbing just a light polish over then buff with a second clean cloth, the second cloth stayed clean. No hard rubbing no smears or marks on the black trim or glass I am really impressed.
I don't know if I would ever be brave enough to use it on a dirty car (second thoughts if one of the kids visits) but certainly after washing easiest polish I have ever used. Next clean I will take pictures of the car and cloths before and after I got carried away this (old bloke brain fade)

Interesting  8) any links to the stuff you used?

My thinking is that if I use Megs quick detailer with a microfibre it will remove extra crap from the surface BUT its the doing it without still just rubbing the dirt across the surface also. Doing it after washing is a lot safer as its not really larger deposits of dirt that you are then removing. If doing it straight off of a non pre washed motor I'd be a little apprehensive.

Just looked at the bottle the web address is www,greasedlightning.co.uk I brought it at our local Hilliers Garden Centre.
This company had several products on the display stand Polish, Tyre dressing, Glass etc etc plus the Micro fibre cloths. After trying the Polish I will try their other stuff as well.

I totally agree Raj using it on top of all the grit mud and salt that is stuck to a dirty car just seems insane. It appears to be a good product to use through, personally always after washing.

Still like a lot of cleaning products follow the advice and try it on an area that wont be seen, like one of the kids cars when they come round at the weekend (tried this son its brilliant have a go)
