Intevee
Intevee
Hello to all. Could somebody explain what Intravee is? I was looking at threads for DRL's and came across the option of turning AE's on with Intravee. I have a Facelift 55 plate E53 Sport and I cannot find anything about this when I select the Menu.
Re: Intevee
Intravee and unfortunately it's based on what firmware you have on your one (if you own one).
Do a quick search and you'll see it's been extensively covered here.
Lot more than DRL functionality on it.

Re: Intravee
Hi Sanj, sorry if this may sound stupid but what is Intrevee? and where do I find it? There is no mention of it in the handbook. Do I need some special software?
Re: Intevee
The intravee is a piece of hardware that replaces the 6 disc changer and with appropriate Alpine iPod adaptor allows you to control an iPod through the car stereo. If the firmware is updated to the latest version and you accept the disclaimer you can also set a number of options such as folding mirrors and the drl's that you have read about. Re: Intevee
To add - it's nothing to do with BMW. This is an after market device.

Re: Intevee
Bit of a hi-jack, but on the link http://www.toysinyourcar.com/acatalog/intravee.html#a64 it says about simply plugging in the Intravee into the 3 & 6 pin cables found plugged into the CD Changer, or a coax cable, of which my changer has neither, but 3 cables (red, brown, white)?
