Newbie here and potential E53 newbie.

Was out and about in deepest Berkshire, having a nose today at a 4 litre E60 and came across an absolutely gorgeous E53.  Even Mrs. Kinky was taken with it  :)

So just joined up to swot up on the 4.6 E53 and see if it's a goer or not.

Fingers crossed.

For those of you familiar with Pistonheads should know me from there.

So sincere apologies in advance for numpty questions that may be asked.

Evening Kinky and :hi: didn't know they did a 4.0 e60  :blink: and even more confused how you'd end up at a e53 4.6iS

Anyway nothing out of the norm for this forum so  :))

Yeah - sorry guys, it was a 4.4 I went to see to start with :)

I knew what I meant; just typed in haste as dinner was coming!

But was so so taken with the X5 which was not a consideration until we had a look at it.  The space in the rear seats is huge - considerably bigger than my E39 tourer.

Great predicament to be in.  Thumping V8 E60 or E53!  Needless to say that the general consensus will be go for the E53 4.6is on this forum.
