Lights in rear footwells

Post by Ant » Wed Apr 17, 2013 7:45 pm

New car, sorry!!

I have noticed that there are two lights in the rear footwell section, they are in the facia below the rear seats.

I cant seem to get them to come on? under what circumstances should they come on?

The ones in the roof come on when I open the doors.

Sorry for the stupidity, just checking everything works, or not, as the case may be

Bulbs may have gone, or have been removed, check to see if you have a live feed to them with the doors open.

Unscrew the black plastic bolts under the cover first and make sure they're connected. Then look to replace em.

Thank you, I have looked at bulbs on that BMW OEM parts number site and I cant even find them, I am not sure how many interior bulbs there are in total?? but I think that those two and the one 'under' the rear passenger door are not working.

Sanj, what black plastic bolts ?? (though if they are within the lamp I admit to not taking them out yet)
