Spacers

Post by blofeld » Fri Apr 12, 2013 9:34 pm

Hi all,

I am thinking of putting 25mm (each side) spacers on the rear to beef up the ass of the X

Anyone have any experience running a staggered setup with no spacers on the front- oversteer problems?

Or am i better off making it square with 25mm on all 4 corners?

My 168 s are oem so staggered.

I was considering these:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Aluminium-Wheel ... B002T3ZBGE as they bolt on first and a bit cheaper than the Eibach Type 7

as always pics of any setups welcome ;)

thnks for any advice

You won't be able to fit 25mm spacers up front trust me.

On my original 168's I did run 25mm on the rears (i'll post a pic) and no issues at all.

As for price, Larkspeed are even cheaper on those H&R's  ;)

Thought it might be tight at the front.....

Did you just space the rear only? - a pic of the stance would be great -cheers

Thanks for the larkspeed tip, bargain. The Eibachs are reasonable there aswell

I had 25mm rear 15mm front on my previous X. It handled fine, and looked good.

Not yet, I sold the last set when I sold the car. I'm planning on getting the same again though.

This was how it looked using 25mm rear spacers only with OE 168's:

Agreed. Very nice. How the stance should be from the factory in my opinion.

Dont get me wrong Your car looks amazing in its current incarnation but it looked pretty bloody good back then
