Quite like the idea of silver, then gloss black next. Most definitely not blue. ;)

If it is only going to cost you the price of the paint try any nothing to lose.

Thought I'd update this thread as requested - my curiosity got the better of me and I did it; it's aluminum paint which is a satin type effect similar to Audi roof rails.

I quite like it at the moment. Easy enough job to do and undo but for now it'll stay like this.it seems to match the other highlights on the car (all oem) and I've always felt silver looks better against estoril than black

I had my doubts when I read the start of the thread, but looks really good with the silver rails on estoril :)
