BMW X5 - Electric Folding Mirror Issues

Hello Guys and Girls

Just checked to day after ages and I am so glad that this forum is up and running after the closure of the last one. Has all the valuable info from the last one disappeared?

I have a slight problem and was wondering if anyone had any clues on how to go about fixing it.

When I try to fold the mirrors in, I am getting the drivers side folding in and the passenger side one not folding in and making a noise, and then the drivers side pops back out. It makes a clicking sounds as if something is not catching.

Any ideas will be much appreciated.

could be the micro switch.
