Just curious as to whether the newer BMW Diesels (E70 / E71) also have some form of Webasto fuel/engine heating system included - not talking about the fully enabled Aux Heating even though that is just a remore connected to the unit fitted in an E53 as an example. I know I can have the reomote auxiliary heating option added - for a price!! - but wondered if the hardware (minus the remote system) is fitted and just needs a 'Maplin job' to make it work.
I can't find any information on the web, and the Dealer doesn't know as the only one they have is an X6M. And I haven't got mine yet, so I can't have a look.

For those lookiing at this thread anew, the answer is no they don't. Now only fitted with the cost option.
