There are a few options out there but i couldnt advise on which is best , only that the H8's work really well :)

Bob, do you know what the output is?

Well i must say guys i'm very impressed with this forum and its only my first day !,

Thanks all for the kind comments , I'll try and get her cleaned and some pics up before i go back to work next week ,the wheels just got painted yesterday so I'm keen to get a few snaps anyway,

I had joined another BMW forum and was very disappointed with the amount of genuine questions going unanswered  , having a look around here i can see its not the case , some real enthusiasts posting so that's great for me as I'm still in my first year of X ownership,

Cheers :D

Cheers guys, it's a must do for me.

Bob, I know what you mean about this site. I was made to feel welcome immediately and, like you, have been really impressed by the help and community feel of the forum. Haven't experienced that for some time. Only been here a month myself!!

This is straight from the manufacturers website ,

Other brands of angel eyes might claim theirs are 5 watt, 10 watt or even 20 watts, however those numbers have no bearing on the brightness of the product. Our LUX H8 V3 produces well over 800 lumens for each light of light making it the brightest of All LED Angel eye products on the market.

The LUX H8 V3 uses a unique power supply that is over 98% efficiency and does not need a heat sink for cooling since it produces no heat

Cant find any values for wattage Don,

Cheers.

Hi Bob and welcome along..

I see we have another biker going by your name and sig....have you still got your 1098R?

Your black X looks the biz, and i'm a bit jealous of your LED halo upgrade, as i don't have HiDs on my X5, so its very difficult to upgrade to LED halo's...which is a bummer.. :(

Welcome Bob.

This is by far the best and friendliest forum out there.

Your X looks great already, but beware of the infinitely increasing costs of detailing.  Worth nearly every penny though.  I'm sure the results will be worth it too.  I spent about 30hrs cleaning and machining mine and I still have work to do.  Looks a million times better than when I started.

Hi,  and welcome,, would be very interested in seeing your ferric grey wheels,  I posted just a few weeks ago asking for photos of same so good timing !!
;)

Hello,

Owned my x35M E70 for 6 months now , done a few mods , biggest being a remap @ Ecotune , (should be putting out 350bhp , needs dyno run though)
Just started getting into detailing ,the cars had a going over with a clay bar and a few coats of carnuba wax , looks 10 times better than when i got the car but its definitely a work in progress,
Fitted the Lux H8's to get rid of the yellow angel eyes and just had the wheels painted Ferric grey , I'll post some decent pictures if the sun ever comes out,
Cheers,
Bob.

Hi Bob and :hi:  as you have found this is a great place with loads of info and some very dodgy banter  :))

Always nice for a new member to post pics and info straight away

Your halo upgrade is also of interest to me albeit for my e61. Any idea if this would be the same exercise? Car is non xenon equipped.

Enjoy the site  :)
