Stopped watching it years ago.  Time it was put out of our misery.

+1.

It has the unmistakeable smell of 'an institution' which, despite its ratings and enduring popularity, is just way past it.  Think Terry Wogan, Chris Moyles etc.  Needs to be put down - there'll be outcries but that's just down to familiarity.  We won't miss it when it's gone, of that I'm pretty sure.

A scripted dwarf and a big stupid halfwit child with pubes on his head spoil what could be a good T.V. show. James may is the only decent one out of the three of them, he brings a small amount of comedy to an informative look at motor vehicles.

Get rid of bodge it and scarper and i think it has the potential to go back to what it is supposed to be

It's been around too long. They need a clean slate.

I actually enjoy Fifth Gear on Discovery - quite pleasantly surprised, TBH.

Any objections to me adding Steve Wright to that list?

Edit- thats the first time i have quoted anyone- has it worked correctly? I am guessing no.

Top gear still has its moments. How the feck they justify TWO 'best of' series 19 episodes is beyond me. It was only about 6 episodes in total!

I wouldn't mind if it was on itv or free view, but they're making us pay for this shite!

Right sorted it!
Anyway back on track, i lost interest long ago when they started with the blowing up caravans shite.
TV is crying out for a decent car program, as imho quite a large % of the population are interested in cars and associated stories, so the markets there.

Thats only because of VBH  :spiteful:

Agree with geting rid of Jeremy and Hammond, I'd also add the stig to that, never seen the point of it. They are all too big for their boots  ::)

Bring in Suzi Perry and A.N. decent driver + May and a differnet set and things might be recoverable

While were are on, can we get rid of the crowd that bursts into laughter whenever jeremy says something "controversial".
