4 Series Coupe

Post by Don Coffey » Fri Mar 22, 2013 9:10 pm

Just seen the latest add for the new 4 Series Coupe.  Very nice looking!  Could be a new contended for the wife as she should be ordering a new company car soon.

Agreed, will be toned down from this "concept" as they all are  ::) 4GT will be the 1 to go for  :)

I heard these are to replace the 3 series coupe? Meaning the end of the m3... Is this right?

Said exactly the same to the wife but can't see it being launched in time for when she needs to order.  ::)

Yep!  M4 from now on.  BMW looked at introducing the 4 Series years ago, but decided against it at the time.  Just the Z4 changed from the Z3.  I think the 1 Series coupe/convertibles will morph into 2 Series in time.

Thats a shame, I'm sure she will be happy with a coupe  :)

So will I.  Better than the Vauxhall Insignia she has at present.  I might not be so openly reluctant to swap cars in the future.  ;)

Well as I believe BMW are going ahead with the X4 soon, might as well go the whole hog and get the X2 as well!  ::)

I like the look of the four series, spy shots of the rear look a little bit better than the old coupe which always looked a bit soft and Honda-ish but until the finished car is revealed I'll have to remain undecided but the M4 might be interesting.
Waiting for the next X6 is seriously dragging, can't see me waiting until its ready and I've already started looking at other things! :o

fully agree.

the 4 is a beauty.

the current 3 series coupe doesn't work for me. i do like the previous shape though which is an incarnation of the saloon..

Anyone know when the M4 cabrio is likely to come out? I was going to get an M3 version for a weekend toy but would prefer a slightly bigger car

Don't want to see too many options as i am already dying to get a replacement. Visited the stelarship yesterday and wife had to drag my ass out of there. But 4 series does look tempting
