X6 performance Kit

Hi Guys my car is now at the Vehicle Distribution Centre and all this talk from MFA etc about performance kits had me looking.  I was just wondering what you guys paid as BMW are quoting me £4000 fitted and that includes the tail pipe kit.  What are your thoughts.

That's probably within a few hundred of what it would cost you to source from elsewhere then prep, paint and fit it all. Plus doing it that way you are assured of a guarantee should anything go awry. I only saved a couple of hundred doing mine privately.

Yeah but add the tailpipe kit at around 550 plus fitting and it's virtually 4k again

i wouldn't bother with paying BMW for the tailpipe kit thats a complete waste of money paying that for some tips!, go to a company which makes custom exhausts and get some tail pipes.  YOur need the the surrouns which fit in the rear bumper to allow you to fit bigger tips

so the kit should cost 3k fitted and maybe a 150 quid for some nice tips with the money you save you can give that to allof us who replied to this topic lol!

Cool I think they look way better than round ones. Also on new car best getting bmw own brand kit for resale value I think. Us old codgers don't like Barry boy special cans lolol
