Mirror arrived but they'd sent the wrong one! Contacted them and it turns out they stuffed up the ebay auction and that the mirror i want is £640 and not £220. They wont let it go for the cheaper price and say the least they'll sell it for is £520!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr! No mirror for me then.

cheeky bastards - start up a dispute with paypal, seems they always side on the buyer (or scammers in my recent cases) lol

I dont think either paypal or ebay can force the seller to send me the correct mirror at the wrong price. It's not as described though in the ebay advert which i think is a contravention of the sale of goods act. Could get a refund but would really like the mirror as advertised. What can ebay or paypal do?

That's bang out of order tbh. I'd definitely keep on at them as I too was watching the ad and it clearly stated it was the universal remote mirror being advertised.

Contacted Citizens Advice and also ebay. Have just sent stern ebay message to seller so will see what happens. Lets see if they really "pride themselves on outstanding levels of customer service"!

BMW Direct emailed today to say they will honour the advert and send me the upgrade mirror at the advertised price.

Correct mirror arrived today! Mad props to BMW for sorting this out properly.

Installed and all working. Nice n easy - no tools needed - just plug and play!

Did the E70 rear wiper conversion on tuesday so all in all a good week for mods!
