Nice find, haven't seen that site before.

The 9 for sale on the AUC site are. Didn't pay much attention to this model at the FoS. But after seeing a couple on the AUC site in detail thought the Matt Silver touches around it work well, however it really does need those tailgate badges removing  :o

Yeah, the badges are overkill. Just needs a nicked '16v' from a Saxo to finish it off. :D

Y'know what?  If I had a 50d, I'd keep the badges too.

Interestingly enough, people assume that BMWs with out badges are smaller engined ones, I myself prefer the clean look and always have a de-badged car, regardless of engine. I quite like the wolf in sheep clothing.

There was a chap I knew who had a highly tuned Skoda Octavia VRS in the days when most didn't even know what it was.  He had his car badged as a 1.4!  Caused quite some confusion.  8)

This reminded me of when I got my first BMW, an E36 318i saloon. Someone at work asked what I drove, etc and one guy (really arrogant type / known for looking down on everyone) asked right away 'was it a proper BMW or was it a 4 cylinder'
The irony was he drove a Rover 216!
People buy horsepower but drive torque!
