X6 looks mean
X6 looks mean
OK, unapologetic 'my car is cool' drivel coming up...
Was travelling in the Mini today while my wife and son were in the X6. Had the opportunity to view the car in motion from all angles. God, it looks so cool! Rear tyres almost comically wide. Just generally imposing with so much road presence.
I'm sure this is news to you all and those who don't like the X6 will have changed their minds by the sheer weight of my argument.
That is all.

X6's do have a certain 'presence' amongst the traffic don't they.

An interesting point, just how often do we get the chance to look at our own cars whilest on the open roads? On the odd occasion the misses and I are in convoy she will always follow me, so all I see is an imposing view in the rear view mirror. ::)
Huck, thank you for stating the obvious , well it is to all us X6 owners.

Never!! She's not allowed to drive it...it's far too technical for a mere girlie to handle

Firstly, congratulations on the results of the conclave last night.
Secondly, whilst the X"6" is a higher number than an X"5" - it is the X5 which is more substantial car and therefore it would be a step *down* to buy a hatchback X6 having owned the X5...
That is all.

Funnily enough, I'm thinking the other way. I could easily see myself in a nice 640d Grand Coupe, although I am looking a few years away yet so plenty of time to change my mind. :'(

I was about to pull the trigger on a 6 GC but my wife said she preferred the X6. Can't complain!
Like you, it's definitely something I see as a possible future car.

I had an E70 and I really feel this is a step up from that. Purely subjective, of course, but it just feels more special to me. A certain 'je ne sais quoi' if you will.

Re: X6 looks mean
The X6 definitely looks trick with the wide arches and menacing stance. Pillbox rear window just needs dressing with colour coded Performance slats and boot lip spoiler added to finish off the look though
