My brother in law says he is going for one of these, not sure when though. Looks like a bigger 4 door evoque at first glance. Similar horse shoe wheels.

However, this could be good for me as I may inherit his X6 or more likely buy it off him as had to move it last night for him and it is nice but big.

Did someone leave a horny full fat Range Rover alone with an Evoque nine months ago, and this is their offspring ?
I would have thought a 2.0 litre one would be a bit guttless. The 2.7 RRS is no powerhouse.
I think the Evoque is ugly, I'm not too keen on this one either. Maybe it will grow on me. I hated the E60 when I first saw it, and then loved the shape and bought one,!

Auto express says its a 3.0 TD 258 BHP, same as the new FF RR or the 4.4 petrol , as rumour has it

I have learnt never to trust my first impressions of cars. I hated, absolutely hated, nearly all Bangle-era BMWs when the pics came out. Saw a few on the road and then I love them.

Conversely, I thought the pics of the Evoque were gorgeous. Come release time, although they're nicely styled, they do zip-all for me. I'm sitting on the fence with the new RRS which probably means I'm going to quite like it!

I have to admit that first thoughts were evoque nose grafted onto RR. Not hitting the spot at present but like a lot of these things my grow on me in the future.

Doesn't do it for me either but as others have said nor did the E60/1 or E70 when first launched

It took a decent colour and set of alloys to start working

Never liked the X6 though!

When the e60 came out 10 years ago it took a beating in looks terms as all Bangle cars did which was a shame. The e60 still looks as fresh as many new to market cars with in the last year, IMHO.

Has far as this new RRS goes, I'm sorry but it does nothing for me what so ever. Discovery is the only vehicle from LR stable that would remotely interest me.

I agree with the comments that suggest it is the bastard son of a full fat range rover and an Evoque.

I don't hate it, but wouldn't buy one that was the colour of burnt ginger pubes.....

That's the reason for the privacy glass on all the windows. So no one can see that you made the mistake of spec ing that colour!!!

Saw ine of these with very light camo on the M6 last Saturday.  Pretty sure this a genuine c*ckup- manufacturers would not normally advocate any suppliers etc.

I think it looks great- just depends on powerplants and options etc. Particularly like the gloss black panel on the D post. Oh and on a side note the front bumper is a slightly darker shade to the body!

Surely LR will have some massively tight non-disclosure thing for any third parties who are involved with their cars, pre-launch.

Methinks Mr. Tinter is in a whole heap of doodoo.

It's an Evoque with the roof jacked up, is is the Evoque the Sport with the B & C pillars chopped?  Both ugly whatever.....
