Annual symptom of underuse of the bike again......battery is now on charge and hoping its not knackered.  Should be ready just in time for the rain at the end of the week  :(

I had a look at the triumph explorer XC yesterday. I do like the look of it but will wait for the new GSA and then take a few test rides.

I had a good 2 hour test ride on the new LC GS on Saturday.... Very nice.
Its a fantastic bike, and really does take the GS experience to another level.
But I'll wait for the inevitable Adventure version though.

The triumph XC was OK, but it felt top heavy to me, and I wasn't convinced about the build quality.

I've just had to buy a new battery and I've got a leaking rear tyre going to slime it and see if that sorts it.

I know that most bikers/motorcyclists dismiss these big scooters as 'not being proper motorcycles', but i happened to test ride one of those BMW 650 scooters recently (i did it for a dare ::)).....

.....And what a great laugh that was  :)) I came back with a huge grin on my face. A twist-and-go 650 scoot, with ABS and ASC, that is a total hoot to ride.

If i had to do a daily urban commute, i'd buy one...  8)

Oi!  >:D

Anyway leather stretches doesn't it?  I mean the girls all have 'lifts' to get rid of their wrinkles so I can stretch the leather to get rid of any wrinkles can't I.....or am I missing something important. :P :-[

I always understood that leather lost natural oils when stored over winter and thats why they shrink O:-)

I like that theory and I am sticking with it ;)

I can agree that because of the dry atmosphere inside most wardrobes, leathers do indeed shrink over winter!!
