Insurance premium increase after remap.

Post by Riggie » Sat Mar 02, 2013 10:03 pm

I am considering a remap in a couple of months time when the warranty expires. I have read the reports of the positive aspects of having this done.

Has anyone who has had a remap been stung with a significant insurance increase? (E53 3.0d)
Thanks
Andy

It depends on the company.  Some will basically tell you to bog off if you so much as string up a couple of furry dice, others as 535dboy has said can be much more reasonable.

It used to be a nightmare but insurance companies understand them much better now.
