At St. Peter's Catholic Church in Adelaide, they have weekly husbands' marriage seminars.
At the session last week, the priest asked Giuseppe, who said he was approaching his 50th wedding anniversary, to take a few minutes and share some insight into how he had managed to stay married to the same woman all these years.
Giuseppe replied to the assembled husbands, 'Wella, I'va tried to treata her nice, spenda da money on her, but besta of all is, I tooka her to Italy for our 25th anniversary!'
The priest responded, 'Giuseppe, you are an amazing inspiration to all the husbands here! Please tell us what you are planning for your wife for your 50th anniversary?'
Giuseppe proudly replied, " I gonna go backa to Italy and picka her up."

+1 on the GROAN front. ::) don't tell us where you get them from though. We don't want those sites getting an influx of hits and actually thinking their stuff is any good!

They're from a motorcycle forum I frequent - being an ex-biker. Not allowed to ride now because of my spine and any suggestion of going back onto two wheels gets an ice cold 'look' from Mrs X5Sport.
Anyway with all the discussion about Ducati I thought you would appreciate their humour........it's as bad as their bikes.... >:D

Re: The Italian Secret to a Long Marriage.
Naughty little Richard, winding up the Ducati Punters ::) I have to say I did like to look of a few of the Ducati's when I was in the dealership but just too sports bike focused for me.
Just back from the local BMW Motorrad dealership, looking at their new GS1200. Although a good looking bike that's going to be very capable, but I will wait to see the new GSA. The bike does have the option to get an led headlight unit. I look forward to seeing how this preforms on the open road.
